This feature enables landlords to share reader access with their tenants, while allowing tenants to manage people directly via their organization's own Proxy Dashboard. This is ideal for landlords using only mobile access. If you would like this feature enabled in your Proxy Dashboard, please reach out to us and let us know.
Step 1: The tenant sends their organization's Proxy Site ID for the desired site to be shared with the landlord by copy/pasting it from the site details, found in the tenant's own Proxy Dashboard account.
Step 2. The landlord shares reader access permissions with the tenant Site ID. This is done by either creating a new permission (with people groups, assigned readers and schedule), or by navigating to an already existing permission (with assigned readers and schedule). Once access permissions are selected, the landlord clicks the “Share with tenant” button, pasting in the tenant's Proxy Site ID.
Step 3: Once the landlord shares the permission with the tenant, the tenant will be able to see it when they navigate to the “Permissions” menu. Once there, the tenant can now accept the shared permission by clicking the "Accept" button.
Step 4: The tenant can now start adding people groups to the permission by clicking the "Accept and add people" button. Once done, they will be navigated to a list of their people groups so they can associate an appropriate one with the newly shared permissions.
