How do I view who has unlocked the door?
As an Administrator, you can check the receipts for "Access Granted", "Range Entered" and "Range Exited" via the Proxy Dashboard at https://dashboard.proxy.com. Within the Dashboard, go to the Site the reader belongs to, select the "Readers" menu and click on a reader. Its receipts will appear on the right. You can also export this data in a CSV file.
What if a user does not receive their email access code?
You can view the status of the delivery in the Proxy Dashboard within the "All People" menu. Hover over the envelope icon to resend the invite. Please also have them check their SPAM folder.
Can I adjust the distance that the phone needs to be from the Proxy Reader in order to activate?
Yes, this can be accomplished in the Proxy Access settings of the Proxy Dashboard, when selecting the "Readers" menu, clicking on a reader and editing the "Phone credential settings".
What happens if my company decides to move offices?
Please contact your Proxy Representative and we will be able to get you set up at your new office.
Can I revoke access? Also, what if my employee's phone is lost or stolen?
You should follow your company protocol to remove access via your local system or the Proxy Dashboard. In the Dashboard this can be done by going to the "All People" menu, selecting the person for whom you wish to remove access and click the "Edit profile" button to suspend the user, revoke mobile session or delete forever.
Can I grant access to people outside my organization?
Yes, you can grant access to anyone. Once invited via email, they will be given simple instructions on how to download the Proxy ID app and use it to gain the access you’ve granted. Because management is so simple, you can use this feature to grant temporary access to visitors, contractors, etc. and revoke access when no longer needed.
What type of log messages are available to track usage activity?
Proxy offers three types of activity indicators
- Range entered - the user has entered vicinity of the access point
- Access granted - the user has unlocked the access point
- Range exited - the user has exited the vicinity of the access point
