Which Proxy product is right for my office?

If you have an existing Access Control System with badge readers and badges, the Proxy Pro Reader and the Proxy Nano Connect Reader might work best for your needs. If you are using standard keys, the Proxy Edge Reader may be the best solution for you. I have multiple offices, each with its own key card. Would I need separate instances of Proxy for each office?

No, since we manage all access credentials in the cloud, all Proxy-enabled locations can be managed through the browser-based Proxy Dashboard.

Is support included in my Proxy monthly service fee?

Yes, it is. Additional support capabilities can be purchased on top of our standard support which comes with your monthly subscription to the Proxy Dashboard (software component of the Proxy Edge Reader) and Mobile Access Sync (software component of the Proxy Pro Reader).

What’s the difference between the Pro Reader, the Nano Connect and the Edge Reader?

The Pro Reader is designed to integrate directly with existing Access Control Systems. It serves as a badge reader and mobile access reader and can integrate with any controller that supports Wiegand/OSDP. The Pro Reader can read RFID cards, but the Edge Reader cannot.
The Nano Connect Reader is a physical access control mobile credential reader, intended to be installed behind an existing wall mounted card reader (not provided). The reader is also capable of supporting pass through physical card credentials when used in conjunction with a compatible physical card reader. The reader can interface with an Access Control System equipped with a Wiegand interface.
The Edge Reader is mobile access only. It is a self-contained controller, managed through the Proxy Dashboard. The Edge works independently of any existing Access Control System.
