Please download the Proxy Device Manager in the links below:
In order for a Proxy device to appear in the Proxy Device Manager app, the device must be powered on (for the Pro or Edge readers, the ‘P’ logo will be illuminated on the front of the reader) and your phone must be within Bluetooth range of the device.
iOS PDM
IMPORTANT: If you are provisioning a Nano Connect OSDP, you MUST use PDM app for iPhone
1. Sign into the PDM app with your Proxy Admin email account that you use for the Proxy Dashboard.
2. Click on the device you wish to provision. It will be marked with an orange "Unprovisioned" button on your app screen.
3. Click on the Organization tab and select an organization from the list to which you wish to provision the device.
4. If you would like, you can click into the reader name line and change the name of the reader.
5. Click Register.
The reader has now been added to the Org. Please remember that it will need to be added to a relevant site in the Proxy Dashboard and added to a permission group.
IF YOUR DEVICE IS A NANO CONNECT (OSDP) (Model Number P55XXXX) - follow the important steps below after you’ve followed the steps above and registered the device to the Org:
Configuring a Nano Connect OSDP in PDM (iPhone)
1. Scroll to the Host Protocol section
2. Protocol - this option is set at OSDP
3. Specification Version:
- Tap Specification Version for options.
- Select OSDP v2 (Secure Channel) if the access control system requires secure channel communication. Note: Only commands sent over this secure channel are accepted.
- Select Reset to Install Mode if the Secure Channel key requires clearing. Note: the device will ignore any baud rate/address/protocol version settings that were selected and only clear the key on the device.

4. Peripheral Address:
- Tap Peripheral Address to see options.
- Select the unique peripheral address to communicate to the ACS from the list provided. Note: Option to view in decimal or hexadecimal format is available in Settings. (See this article for instructions on changing settings.)

5. Baud Rate:
- Tap Baud Rate to see options.
- Select the Baud rate from the list provided.
6. Tap Save.

Android PDM
IMPORTANT: If you are provisioning a Nano Connect OSDP, you MUST use PDM app for iPhone (instructions above).
1. Sign into the PDM app with your Proxy Admin email account that you use for the Proxy Dashboard.
2. Tap the “New Device” card.
3. Select the device that you would like to provision.
4. Tap “Register Device”.
5. Enter the reader name and select the Organization (Reader Owner) you’d like to provision the reader to.
6. Tap “Register”.
